This is an 8 channel balanced output module designed to fit behind a 4HP Eurorack panel. Trimpots on the PCB attenuate the input signal. The PCB is available in two versions depending on how you'd like your outputs:
1.DB25 Outs. The PCB has a DB25 connector for directly connecting an 8 channel snake. It uses the TASCAM pinout for the DB25.
2.Wirepads. The PCB has wirepads for connecting directly to XLR or 1/4" output jacks.
This PCB requires calibration and either a lot of offboard wiring or a relatively deep case with a way to get a large cable out the back of it. It has Eurorack style jacks attached to the PCB as well as mounting holes for using offboard jacks. It can be used with 12V or 15V systems without modification.
For complete descriptions of the way the module is used, and how to build it, including schematics and parts list; download this PDF file.
Boards are available now. Price for 1 PCB is $8.
Unfinished eurorack
panels are available for this project, they are 4HP and cost $7 each.
There is
more information here about panels. If you're interested in drilling your own panel for
this project, feel free to use my

scaling.
